چکیده
A bacterial strain from petroleum-contaminated soil in south-eastern Turkey was isolated and characterized to determine the potential of alkane hydrocarbon biodegradation. Phenotypic characteristics sequence analysis 16S rRNA gene revealed that D9 is a member Delfitia genus most similar Delftia tsuruhatensis (100%). The optimum pH temperature values for growth D. were found be 9.0-10.0 35°C, respectively. grow some single, medium long-chain hydrocarbons such as decane, hexadecane, squalene, tested by short-time incubation basal (BM) presence 1% concentrations under conditions. After 3 days, 65% single hexadecane degraded D9, GC-MS analysis. biodegradation petroleum present study shows it can good candidate bioremediation process.

Isolation and characterization of diesel-degrading Pseudomonas strains from diesel-contaminated soils in Iran (Fars province)
In this study, among the 21 diesel-degrading bacteria that were isolated from an oil-polluted area in Fars (Iran), 6 bacterial strains were tested for their capability to metabolize and grow on diesel oil by degrading its hydrocarbons content. The biochemical characteristics and 16S rRNA sequence analysis of diesel-degrading bacteria showed that these strains were related to the genus Pseudomon...
متن کاملIsolation and Characterization of Diazinon Degrading Bacteria from Contaminated Agriculture Soils
Background: Organic agricultural pesticides are so stable in ecosystems and biosphere. These compounds affect soil conditions and agricultural products. The aim of this study was isolation of diazinon-degrading bacteria from Kerman pistachio orchards, Southeastern Iran. Methods: Diazinon-degrading bacteria were enriched in Bushnell-Hass medium. Identification and sequencing of prevalent degr...

متن کاملBiodegradation of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) in Petroleum Contaminated Soils
Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons are a class of potentially hazardous chemicals of environmental and health concern. PAHs are one of the most prevalent groups of contaminants found in soil. Biodegradation of complex hydrocarbon usually requires the cooperation of more than single specie. In this research biotreatment of PAH (phenanthrene) was studied in a solid-phase reactor using indigenou...
